History
1954
So, let’s start from the beginning — why the year 1954? That year, my grandfather Dragiša began practicing the barber’s craft. He started learning the trade back in 1952, when he was just 14 years old, and two years later, he began working at a location on Bulevar Revolucije.

He worked under the then-master and renowned barber Bogoljub. When Bogoljub retired in the 1960s, my grandfather bought the barbershop and expanded it. For him, it wasn’t just a job — the barbershop was his world.
The Craft
For my grandfather, barbering was much more than a profession. In it, he found purpose, daily life, and love. It was in that very barbershop that he met his future wife, Ruža, with whom he started a family.

They had two children, and their daughter Marina followed in her father’s footsteps. In the family spirit, my grandfather also introduced me, his grandson, to the trade from a young age — teaching me patience, hard work, and the value of a craft passed down from generation to generation.
Family
My grandparents spent their entire working lives at the same location. Their dedication and hard work shaped the spirit of the barbershop as we know it today. I am Vladimir Krstanović, and this craft is a part of my identity. It’s not just a profession — it’s the place where I grew up, where meetings happen, and where everyday stories unfold.

Today, “Barber Bricko” is my way of continuing the family tradition, with pride and respect for everything the previous generations have built. We strive to treat every guest with care, nurturing relationships, trust, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Our barbershop preserves the spirit of bygone days — from the scent of old colognes to the pleasant music and conversations that often turn into friendships. Here, time seems to stand still — and that is the true magic of the craft.

How can I book an appointment?
What if all appointments are taken?
The app has a waiting list. When someone cancels, the slot is automatically freed and we notify everyone on the list. There’s always a chance something will open up — so it’s good to leave your name on the waiting list.
How long does a haircut take?
A haircut takes about 30 minutes. Sometimes a bit longer, as we give each guest careful, unrushed attention.
What services do you offer?
We offer men’s haircuts, beard grooming, and traditional shaving. You can also purchase professional premium hair and beard care and styling products.
Can I buy products at the barbershop?
Absolutely! Our barbers will help you choose products suited to your hair, beard, and style. We carry brands like Reuzel, Captain Fawcett, and Depot.
Can I pay for the service with a card?
At the moment, we don’t have a POS terminal in the barbershop, so payment is only possible in cash.
Do you cut children’s hair?
Yes, children are always welcome! We have patience and experience with the little ones. We’re proud to be where basic men’s grooming rituals begin.

Is smoking allowed?
Absolutely! Bricko barbershop is a place to enjoy. We have a closed terrace and yard, and pipe smokers are welcome.
Is the drink complimentary?
One drink is on the house. We have a hat at the bar where you can leave a tip if you want to support restocking. That way, you can enjoy more drinks or sample a variety.
